~ Serving Sweet Treats Since 1984 ~
We’re Open Everyday!
Sunday through Thursday: 10 AM to 9 PM
Friday & Saturday: 10 AM to 10 PM
Except Thanksgiving & Christmas.
Located in historic Old Sacramento, Jerry Haws and Cynthia Fritsch Haws welcome you. We are conveniently placed at the corner of K Street and 2nd Street, adjacent to the K Street underpass.
One visit and you’ll discover why Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is the number one destination of chocolate lovers since 1984. Throughout the store you will discover a fantastic variety of yummy chocolates and confections to satisfy cravings of even the most ardent chocoholic!
Watch as we dip crisp apples in thick, bubbling caramel, made right from scratch, using a traditional copper kettle. Smile as we roll them in a rainbow of tasty toppings to complete your old-fashioned treat. Linger a while longer and learn how fudge is made as we fashion a creamy loaf on a traditional marble slab, the old-fashioned way, right before your eyes. See how we make our famous crunchy peanut brittle and Rocky Pop™ (caramel corn.) You’ll also love watching us dip our unbelievably large stemmed strawberries in our milk, dark, or white chocolate. Our farm-fresh strawberries are specially grown on the Monterey coast for their full flavor and size.
We invite you to explore our site for product information, special offers or news and events. And when you're ready, give us a call or stop in. We'll keep the kettle cooking for you!
VALENTINES DAY - Wednesday, February 14th
Valentine’s Day is on Wednesday this year and is a perfect time to be with that special person, which can also include family and friends. Gift giving and dining can highlight the day & evening.
Again this year, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Old Sacramento will offer a large selection of Hand Dipped Chocolate Strawberries and Boxed Assorted Chocolates and miscellaneous treats for the occasion. We do our best to predict demand, but to ensure availability; it is wise to place your Chocolate Dipped Strawberry order early as possible.
